Full of joy, full of celebration, the day has come when we rejoice the amiable presence of our dearest Fathers in our lives and in our hearts, its Fathers Day!
There couldn’t be a better time of the year when we could share and truly reveal how wonderful and blessed we feel to have them. A Father is no ordinary man, he is an expression of creation in the universe. His unconditional love we can never scale up to. We extend our gratitude and honor our Fathers for the countless moments of delight they’ve brought in our lives.
This is not just a thank you note but a drill down the memory lane that reminds us that we stand tall today because of our Father’s prayers. From the fun moments in the park, to the first bike we rode, he always stood by and cherished our smiles. We held his finger, the ‘safety bond’ and felt the world below our feet. Everything was possible, nothing seemed unattainable, when he gently whispered, and “I will always be there for you”. He took us to his shoulders so we could look out to the world and taught us the lessons of bravery and kindness.
We fantasized to grow up and be like him, we idealized his power and wit. Throughout our lives, he was our guiding light, no one understood us better or matched our Father’s insight. His words were inspirational, his wisdom nonpareil, we learnt the art of living under his sway.
The sacrifices he made can never go unrecognized. He put himself through pains, so we could live in luxury. He spent sleepless nights so that he could give better mornings to us. His wildest passion was to bestow upon us every happiness in the world.We unknowingly hurt him numerous times but he forgave us every time. One thing he couldn’t stand were tears in our eyes, it would rip his heart if ever it was so, but he would never show.
A father dedicates his life to make ours better. He is the true definition of selfless love. There aren’t enough hugs we can share, there isn’t enough love we can offer that could ever repay his warmth. We do not want to be too late in acknowledging his worth, as he is the divine figure, we were blessed to deserve. We not only thank him or pray for his happiness, but we promise to make every effort to bring him the world’s most cherished desires, like he always did for us, on his special day. Let us turn his sacrifices into joys. Let us remember and honor once again, our amazingly awesome fathers on this Father’s Day and make them feel special and loved and make a promise to always stay close to them to appreciate the paternal bond we share.
